Despite talk of recovery, Ireland is experiencing a housing crisis the scale of which has not been seen since the tenements were demolished. A People’s Archive of The Irish Housing Crisis is a people's online archive to collect and preserve our stories, accounts and memories of the housing crisis, as it is being experienced on the ground. It represents how people are dealing with and voicing their concerns about the housing crisis. This archive consists predominantly of visual material, such as images and videos. The archival materials depict how people feel about their homes and how people are speaking out about the housing crisis.
The archive strives to portray the narratives of people themselves and is not aligned to any political party or organisation, but it is recognised that many co-archivers do have political party affiliations.
